The Worldwide Spanish Academy specializes in Spanish courses but in our other branches we also offer the "standard languages" such as German, Dutch and English and even 6 languages more! We have written all our own teaching material according to our extensive experience in the field of language teaching. All courses are adapted to your individual needs. We offer courses of 2 up to 8 weeks. Because learning is easier in a relaxed environment, we try to make the courses as much fun as possible. We avoid lengthy grammar sessions and just make sure you learn to speak as quickly as possible.

METHOD:

 

The method we’ve developed is extremely pro-active. The students do almost all of the talking. We use your language knowledge of English and possibly other languages to better comprehend the Spanish language. We use your strengths to your advantage. By making you aware of all the similarities between Spanish and the languages you already dominate, you’ll find logic behind everything, which, of course, makes learning this new language a lot easier!

We do not believe in the “total immersion” system, especially not for beginners, simply because it’s vital to understand the explanations given by the teachers.  We give all explanations in the beginning in English and gradually start speaking more and more Spanish. The same goes for speed. We start speaking slowly and bit by bit we increase the speed of talking, so you gradually get used to faster speakers.

The key to everything is having fun! The more relaxed you are during your classes, the easier it will be to take in and process all the information. And exactly that is our specialty!
